Sheela Banerjee is a writer and academic. She grew up in London and India. Sheela was a programme-maker for the BBC and Channel 4 for many years before leaving TV to do a PhD on ghosts in modernist literature. What's in a Name?: Friendship, Identity and History in Modern Multicultural Britain is her first book.
